Initial consultations for all our services are provided at no cost or obligation.

Customized Pricing Structure
At EmKo, our pricing structure reflects our commitment to treat our clients with the individualized attention that is the hallmark of our business. To accommodate the specific needs of our clients, our pricing structure is time-based. Following our free consultation, clients receive a proposal outlining estimated costs, site map (website design) and a proposed timeline.

For many of our clients, EmKo Printing and Design becomes an extension of their company, providing printed design services and/or web design maintenance work as needed. For ongoing services, invoices are processed monthly.

Proofing
Generally, print clients will receive mock-ups of their project using pdf output sent by email. Arrangements can be made for those projects where a physical proof is required. For web design projects, client will have access to a test site where the initial layout and navigation will be made available for their review before the layout is finalized. Clients will be required to give a final okay before a project is either sent to the printer or uploaded to the internet. Any corrections required by errors on our part will, of course, be completed with no charges to the client.

Printing
Our clients enjoy a wide variety of printing options. We have a long-standing relationship with a local printer who provides our clients with the highest quality printing and very competitive pricing. Cost estimates for any specific job are provided at no cost or obligation, and your project is shipped/delivered right to your door or another location if necessary (shipping/delivery fees apply). For projects where only a small quantity is needed, full-color in-house printing is available. High-quality photo printing is also available. Estimates are available for all in-house and photograph printing. We can also provide artwork on CD and/or mail out artwork as you require (additional time and/or mailing charges will apply).

Website Hosting
After completing your website design, EmKo is able to recommend web-hosting services through a local provider with whom we have several years of experience. Although we can help determine the best hosting option for your situation, you will work directly with this local provider and all hosting charges will be separate from EmKo web design charges. If you have arrangements through your own web-hosting service, we will work with them to get your website activated smoothly and quickly.

Payment Terms
In general, EmKo clients enjoy "net 30" terms from date of invoice, with a 2% fee for late payments. A $20 service charge will be imposed for any returned checks. Website design projects require 1/2 down for work to be started and the remainder to be paid upon upload and activation of site.

Project Scheduling
At the time of consultation or project inception, the client will receive a timeline and estimated completion date for their project. Please note that, although we work very hard to accommodate the schedules our clients, we cannot be held to a completion date for a project where the client has been unable to provide the design materials within the agreed-upon timeframe. Projects which require overnight or weekend work will incur an additional charge.
